What She’s All About: This lady is a former power lifter who competed regionally and won occasionally (with trophies to prove it!). Desiree has 11 marathons under her belt including the Marine Corp marathon and Grandfather Mountain. She taught fitness for 8 years until she retired in 2010. In 2016, she found the only studio that would get her back in the saddle (FIRST WIND). If you are looking for some intensity in your workout, this is your girl. She shows her love for you through burpees and burning legs.
What She Loves Outside of the Studio: Hubby, Fur Babies, Friends, Yoga, and the PANTHERS!
What She’s All About: Sarah is a nursing administrator by day and fitness instructor by night! As a health professional and someone who has always made wellness a part of her lifestyle, she is passionate about her own health and fitness and yours. Sarah loves the mental and physical benefits that moving and staying active provide and she loves sharing that feeling with you in the studio!
What She Loves Outside of the Studio: Family, Friends, Travel, and Music
What She’s All About: Originally from Vermont, Bethany’s been calling Charlotte home for the last 13 years. She’s Charlotte famous as DJ Little Betty and has a special love for people that is evident in everything she does. She takes special consideration in crafting her playlists to motivate and energize her classes. This lady loves working with clients to improve lives physically, mentally, and emotionally through impactful workouts and positive vibes.

What She’s All About: Since attending Air Force Basic Training over 18 years ago, Trinity has made fitness and healthy living a part of her daily life. She is an extremely versatile instructor and trainer and loves working with clients of all ages and stages. Her goal is to empower people through fitness just as she feels she has been empowered. She loves to see her students grow and become stronger not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
What She Loves Outside of the Studio: Family, Running, Coaching, and Crafting
What She’s All About: Lyn has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She’s been a competitive martial artist, a dancer, and a coach. She believes the keys to success in making health and fitness a permanent part of your lifestyle are a positive mindset, the right kind of self-talk, and creating habits that stick. Lyn brings fun into her classes and training sessions and is particularly passionate about working with people who have lofty goals.

What He’s All About: Josh is a lifelong athlete who started wrestling at the age of five and has practiced and played football, soccer, kickball, hockey, and martial arts over the years. He loves working with people who are just starting out in making fitness a part of their life. Josh motivates his clients with a positive attitude and a little push!
What He Loves Outside of the Studio: Music, Dogs, Friends, and Sports
What She’s All About: Karen has a passion for fitness and cycling that runs deep. As a Heart Patient, she struggled with fitness as a part of her life prior to a medical procedure to fix an abnormality in her heart in 2008. Since then, she’s been able to do more than she ever could growing up and wants to share her love for moving and staying healthy with everyone at First Wind.
